Enjoying the Top Favorite Foods of the Summer
Top Summer Foods
This is the time of year when we break out the grill to cook our sausages, hot dogs, and endeavor? Take those veggies to the grill! Wrap your corn up in tin foil with butter and spices. Get your bell peppers nice and blistered. Add some Portobello mushrooms. Place them on the side or on top of a burger with some avocado and you will truly be the talk of the town. Make sure to get all the ingredients from the nearest food market in Dubai and you are good to go. Below are our suggested foods that you are going to enjoy:
- Market Salad
This is an awesome little cool summer salad with all the crisp summer veggies you can find. The best part is that this salad goes a long way, and it is very individual. Choose your favorite lettuce with an additional green like spinach. Then toss in some crispy veggies like fresh snap green beans for texture. Add a hard-boiled egg, a can of chickpeas, some black olives, or roasted red peppers with some black or white raisins for sweetness.
- Special Mexican Com
This is a great way to make the most addictive and tasty corn-on-the-cob to add to your fun on the grill. Nestle your corn in a piece of foil. Add cheese or mayonnaise, some chili powder, and lime juice to taste. You will never go back to a plain ear of corn with butter again!
- Citrus Chicken
Chicken has always been the old stand by, especially if you are on a budget! Marinate a whole chicken overnight with a light mustard and tarragon sauce or with some cilantro with some citrus marinade. Place the chicken onto the grill, close the lid, and cook until the chicken is golden brown. Serve with steamed summer veggies.
- Bacon, lettuce, and tomato sandwiches are another great standby.
They are inexpensive and not as fattening as you would think. Just add light mayo and drain off the bacon. - BLT Salad: If you aren't too happy with the bread in a BLT, ditch the bread and make it a salad! What goes good as a dressing for a BLT salad? Alight mayo and apple cider vinegar mixture! Add some avocado slices and you're off!
- Fruit Salad
A homemade fresh fruit salad is a great combination. The best summer fruits to put together are grapes, kiwi, pineapple, melon, strawberries, and banana! You receive the best in essential nutrients for the day with an explosion of flavor. It is a meal in itself, and if you want a little extra protein, top with a handful of nuts! Again, chili-lime peanuts are a great addition.
